the history of the company begins with 1966 as "Poltava plant of artificial diamonds and diamond tools" after the country's leadership has set the task to develop and master the technology of synthesis of diamonds and manufacture of diamond tools.
In 1966, for the first time the company has been synthesized diamond powder. For a short time, the plant became the largest in the USSR manufacturer of grinding and micro powders of synthetic diamond.
In 1967 — 1968 production of a wide range of diamond grinding wheels on organic and metal sheaves.
During operation, the enterprise has developed and mastered over 9,000 diamond tool.
In 2001, the company implemented quality management system ISO 9001. The effectiveness of our quality management system is recognized as a leading global company BUREAU VERITAS Certification.
For successful work on the market, after the reorganization in 2005 the production of diamond tools is allocated in the separate enterprise PJSC "POLTAVA DIAMOND tools" which is the successor of "Poltava plant of artificial diamonds and diamond tool".

In 2018 production of diamond ruling rollers for dressing of abrasive wheels for manufacturing of turbine blades, gear wheels, crankshafts, etc. Also in 2018 started the production of segmented cut-off wheels and drills for cutting building materials, asphalt, refractory and natural stone.
All tools are produced on modern equipment company Dr. Fritsch. In 2019, mastered the production of CBN grinding wheels on ceramic bond.
Today PJSC "POLTAVA DIAMOND tools" is a modern enterprise specializing in the production of wide range of diamond and CBN tools for: manufacture and tool sharpening of carbide and high speed steels; grinding and polishing hard alloy, heat resistant alloy and stainless steels, glass, ceramics, silicon, refractories, gem stones and other materials; cutting products of hard alloy, glass, marble, granite, quartz, ceramics, building materials; drilling of glass and highly reinforced concrete, etc.
