Open Joint Stock Company "PELENG" is a leading design enterprise of the optical and electronic industry of the Republic of Belarus.

The company was formed in 1974 by reorganizing the design department of the Minsk Mechanical Plant named after S.I.Vavilov into the Central Design Bureau "Bearing". In 1994, the Central Design Bureau "Peleng" was transformed into the open joint stock company "Peleng", becoming a private company with a state share of 48.9%.

In 2003, the Company was included in the Register of High-tech Industries and Enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.

The core competence of JSC Peleng is research and development (R&D), which includes a full cycle of manufacturing high-tech optoelectronic products for wide use.

The company employs over 2,000 employees, more than half of them are highly qualified engineering and technical personnel.
