The Avalon Group of Companies bought out the Russian assets of one of the leading German electrotechnical concerns and based on them created NPO Avalonelectrotech LLC and Stupinsky Electrotechnical Plant LLC.

Import substitution. Localization of the best Western technologies in Russia

Having overcome the crisis caused by the sanctions, the Russian market of electrical equipment is currently increasing its international competitiveness, largely due to the Stupinsky Electrotechnical Plant.

With the transition of production from foreign investors in 2022, the plant was forced to restructure all processes related to logistics and raw materials supplies as soon as possible. However, having managed not only to localize the most demanded products and the best Western solutions, STAZ also offers fundamentally new developments. By creating its own fresh solutions to meet the requirements of the Russian market on a more demanding base of standards than before, STEZ continues to successfully expand the range of localized products. We are constantly moving towards independent expansion of production both within the usual nomenclature groups, and we are implementing completely new, special solutions for products that have not been produced before.

Noting the great interest in friendly countries, STEZ is already working with Belarus, establishing contacts with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, offering solutions for railways, the fuel and energy complex and the nuclear industry.
