"Design Bureau for automation of welding technologies" was established in December 1991 on the basis of the research department of the special design bureau of the heavy electric welding equipment plant.Over the 30 years of our fruitful activity, we have accumulated vast experience in the development of electric welding equipment, created about a hundred unique machines that successfully operate in Russia and around the world - from the Far East and China to South America.

KB AST has developed and is now mass-producing control devices for contact, spot, seam, relief and butt welding equipment on alternating and rectified current, as well as low-frequency, capacitor and inverter versions.

We produce complete control systems for serial welding machines such as MT, MR, MRT, MTR, MTM, MTP, MTV, MSHV, MTVR, MTN, MRN, MTK, CSR, MSO, etc.

Today, many enterprises in Russia and neighboring countriesproduce welding equipment equipped with control devices created by KB AST.

The subject of the main activity of the enterprise is:

• comprehensive development and production of welding equipment, process lines, automation devices, tooling for all types of industrial production;
• development of innovative technological processes for welding production;
