Irimo

1930's: Irimo was created in the Basque Country (Spain) in 1930 and began manufacturing cart axles and mil balls for cement factories.
Later, it expanded to sophisticated tools, half shafts and wheel spindles for the automotive industry.

1940's: Despite the difficult decade, IRIMO led the way, inventing the heavy duty adjustable wrench which out-performed any other type of spanner.

1950's: The Heavy duty adjustable wrench receive International recognition, being awarded the Gold Medal at the International Inventor Show in Brussels.

1960's: Irimo continued its commitment to industrial modernity with the introduction of the socket wrench.

1970's: Irimo after various innovations, it expanded the manufacturing plant. With various innovations and plenty of growth over the next few decades.

2005: In 2005 Irimo celebrated 75 years of industry excellence and launched Special Edition range of tools.

Today: Irimo continues to work on its commitment to adapt to the new market challenges of the hand tool business for professionals.
