The range of manufactured products is constantly expanding. During production, the basic safety requirements of the directives of the European Union are observed, which allows the CE marking to be applied to the products. All products comply with the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2015.

Founded in 1961, the plant has been producing products that have received numerous awards at domestic and international exhibitions for more than 50 years.

Factory history

In 1961 a factory of normalized nodes was created on the basis of a glass container factory. The plant released its first batch (normals) in June 1961 and was called the Gomel Plant of Normalized Nodes.

In 1970 the plant started manufacturing components for universal machines: feed boxes and aprons.

Since 1976-1991 was a member of the Moscow production Association "Red Proletarian".

In 1972the production of radial drilling machines of model 2E52 was mastered.

In November 1975, the factory of normalized nodes was renamed the Gomel Plant of Machine components. Since that period, the plant has been expanding the range of components for universal machines and mastering the production of radial drilling machines of the 2K52, 2K52-1, 2K522, GS544, GS545 models.

In 1992 the plant began to produce universal lathes of the GS526 model and its versions.

In 2005 the production of CNC lathes of the 16GS25F3 model with the largest diameter of the workpiece 500mm above the bed and the RMC 1000 mm was mastered. The CNC systems "SIEMENS", "FAGOR" and "Mitsubishi" are used on the bed (they can be equipped with other systems on request of the consumer) for processing parts of a complex profile can be used in various industries.

In 2006 the production of a new radial drilling with the largest drilling diameter of 50 mm was mastered.

In 2008 the plant produced a prototype of a CNC lathe model 16GS25SU with an operational control system, as well as a new CNC lathe model GS1725F3, a vertical drilling machine model 2T125 and 2T150.

Since November 26, 2010 the plant has been renamed into the Open Joint Stock Company "Gomel Machine Assembly Plant".

From May 10, 2022 the plant was renamed into the Open Joint Stock Company "Gomel Plant of Machine Tools and Assemblies".

At the moment , the plant produces:

• universal turning and screw-cutting machine model GS526, designed to perform a variety of turning operations in the centers or chuck, as well as for threading. Mod machines have been created on its basis. GS 526U, GS 526UM, GS 526U-01, GS 526UM-01, GS 526U-02, GS 526UM-02, etc. with a length of the installed part from 1000 to 2000 mm. The machines can be equipped with drilling and milling devices, which additionally allow drilling, milling and threading at different angles on parts mounted on the lathe support;
• lathes with UCI;
• CNC lathes;
  
• as well as components (feed boxes and aprons for turning and screw-cutting machines, automatic heads for CNC machines).

• vertical drilling machine model 2T140 (maximum drilling diameter 40mm);
