Company history

Frey Systeme was founded in 1989 by mechanical engineer Dieter Frey in Langgris and quickly developed into an international and successful company.

Starting with the manufacture of tools and adapters for specific customers, only a few years later, high-quality and durable isostatic and uniaxial powder presses were built.

Thanks to the specialization in the production of special-purpose machines and installations, which began in 1991, our machines have continued to develop into separate systems with a high degree of automation over the years. To cope with the growing challenges, we have been researching and developing new and innovative production methods for several years in cooperation with universities and research institutes, further increasing the productivity and efficiency of our products.

We cooperate with the international manufacturer of isostatic equipment EPSI to ensure that our customers receive the best possible support even after the purchase of the new Frey system.

Today we have more than 35 employees, mainly working in the field of design, manufacture and assembly. In recent years, our share of exports has been about 80%.

After more than 30 years of successful work combined with a high level of entrepreneurial activity, Dieter Frey handed over management to his successor Dieter Lauber on March 1, 2021.
