Felo Werkzeugfabrik was founded as "Hammermuehle" in Thüringen, Germany. Today, it is one of the leading experts in the quality of tool production. Felo is traditionally strong in export, Felo has been producing catalogues of its products in four languages since the thirties and has applied for the first international patents. Due to the aftermath of World War II, the founder's family had no other chance but to leave Germany. They fled across the border to Hesse, and soon after, production of the instrument began in Neustadt under the FELO brand in 1950. The company has grown from a modest staff of two employees, a typewriter and client files to an international company with more than 220 employees in Germany and Hungary. Thanks to tradition, quality and innovation, the company has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of screwdrivers and bits. More than 2000 different Felo products are produced daily for our customers. In addition, the same number of products are available in customized versions and specialized tools at the request of our customers, as well as under a private label. Today, in its fifth generation, Felo is the largest employer providing jobs to Neustadt residents in Germany and in more than 40 export destinations.
