Basalt

Our company is engaged in the production of basalt roving and many other composite building materials made of basalt.
Having started our activity in 2015 in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region (Republic of Uzbekistan), we continue to develop production to improve the quality of our products and introduce new generation materials to the world market.

• The total area of the plant is more than 10,000 sq.m.
• Our factory has created more than 300 jobs for the population.
• The production capacity allows to produce more than 5,000 tons of basalt fiber per year.

We create innovative composite materials from basalt rocks, which have many advantages in comparison with existing conventional analogues.

• Basalt roving is an uncoiled thread that consists of continuous basalt fibers. In terms of physico-chemical and mechanical properties, BNV has great prospects as a reinforcing material in the production of special concrete and polymer matrix composites operating in aggressive environments. Roving is a fairly young and very promising type of world-class products.
• Basalt composite pipe is one of the most important innovative and promising representatives of the group of basalt composite products. High physical and mechanical properties and resistance to aggressive environments have determined their wide application in key areas of industry. The solution to the urgent issue in the fight against corrosion of pipelines is to switch to basalt composite pipes.
• Basalt mineral wool is one of the most widespread in the world of heat and sound insulation materials used in all industries (insulation of interstory floors, load-bearing structures, upper layers in the device of the loaded roof and other loaded structures). Basalt wool has special characteristics that combine heat resistance with long-term stability. Due to its thermal insulation properties, the insulation prevents heat loss, even in the cold season and keeps cool in hot weather.
• Basalt geogrid is made of basalt roving, freely superimposed on each other and stitched with polyester, basalt and nylon threads with tambour stitches, using knitting machines.
• Fiber fiber is used as an additive in various types and types of concrete, asphalt concrete, building mixes and mortars as a reinforcing additive. The addition of fiber eliminates the formation of cracks and problems with breaking off the edges and corners of products during their stripping, as well as significantly improves their appearance and surface finish quality.
• Basalt reinforcement is made of roving, in the form of rods arranged parallel to each other, interconnected by resins. The rebar rods have a spiral-shaped surface. Made of volcanic stone, basalt reinforcement has high strength and is resistant to corrosion. Manufactured basalt fittings with a diameter of 4 mm to 24 mm, a length of 3 m to a bay of 50 and 100 m.

For the production of the above products from basalt rocks, the Company produces raw materials in the quarries of the Jizzakh region.
The main activities of the Company are:

• extraction and processing of basalt raw materials;
• production of new types of innovative, energy-efficient, energy-saving wall and environmentally friendly building composite materials from basalt rocks;
• creation of a solid and long-term basis for the introduction of timely innovation in the construction and other spheres of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
