BAAZ
On August 9, 1944, when, on the basis of the Decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the BSSR No. 197 of April 28, 1944, the head of the Baranovichi regional Land Department of the People's Commissariat of the BSSR issued a decree on the organization of the Baranovichi Motor Repair Plant (Order No. 21 of 08/19/1944).
1944-1945 - the labor biography of our plant begins from this day. The first director was appointed - Mikhail Filippovich Fedeneev. The plant repairs automobile and tractor engines and manufactures spare parts.
1946-1950 - an experienced specialist, engineer Konstantin Nikolaevich Anikeychik, is appointed director of the plant, whose name is associated with the history of the construction and development of the plant from small workshops to the enterprise as it became in the sixties.
1951-1958 - High-speed and power methods of metal cutting began to be introduced at the plant. The plant started to repair cars, the repair of GAZ-51, ZIS-5, ZIS-120 cars was carried out thoroughly.
1959 - the plant began to specialize in the production of automotive units.
January 1960 - the plant was renamed the automobile assembly plant.
June 1960 - the company was renamed the Baranovichi Automobile Assembly Plant.
1975 - was formed by "BelavtoMAZ", which included our plant. This has become a new milestone in the life of the team.
The plant's delivery of components and assemblies to the MAZ conveyor required improvement of the technical and economic characteristics of the products, and therefore the plant always actively cooperates with a number of research institutes.
1981 - Anatoly Yakovlevich Kalenikov was appointed director of the plant. The plant has mastered the production of the steering mechanism 540 for cars of the BelAZ family. A company store, a transport shop, and a stamping shop have opened their doors. The construction of a mechanical assembly building for the production of telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers has been completed, equipped with new high-performance equipment and advanced technology, which made it possible to establish a rhythmic production operation and timely shipment of shock absorbers to the consumer.
Since the beginning of the 90s and up to the present time, the plant has been developing new products in demand on the market: shock absorbers and dampers for railway and subway cars, semi-integral steering mechanisms, steering rods, cab lift pumps, jet rods, cardan steering shafts, etc.
2010 - appointed director of the plant Yurkevich Vitaly Alexandrovich.
In 2013 JSC "BAAZ" became a laureate of the Ministry of Industry Award for achievements in the field of quality.
In 2014 JSC "BAAZ" became a laureate of the Award of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality.
In 2017 JSC "BAAZ" has confirmed the title of laureate of the Award of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality.
