JSC "Transneft - Prikamye"

The history of Transneft Kama Region JSC began with a small oil pipeline Shugury—Klyavlino with a length of only 27 km. For its operation, on August 16, 1949, by order of the Minister of the Oil Industry of the USSR N.K. Baibakov, the Tatar Oil Pipeline Office was organized in Klyavlino. It was with her that the history of a large modern enterprise began — Transneft Kama Region JSC, which developed and improved together with the entire oil pipeline industry of the country.

The company consists of 5 regional oil pipeline departments with centers in Kazan, Almetyevsk, Perm, Izhevsk and Leninogorsk, whose production facilities are located on the territory of 11 subjects of the Russian Federation. To date, Transneft Kama Region JSC provides operation of about 6,500 km of trunk oil pipelines and oil product pipelines, also as part of the Company's production facilities — 35 trunk pumping stations, 128 underwater crossings of trunk pipelines.

JSC "Transneft — Prikamye" is one of the largest subsidiaries of PJSC "Transneft" (until 30.06.2016 — Open Joint Stock Company "Joint Stock Company for Oil Transportation "Transneft"). The staff is about 8,000 people.

The central office is located in Kazan.

The main activities of Transneft KamaRegion JSC:

• operation and overhaul of main pipeline transport facilities;
• storage of oil and petroleum products;
• transportation of oil and petroleum products via trunk pipelines.

Prospects for the development of Society

In accordance with the Program of Development, technical re-equipment and reconstruction and The program of major repairs of the linear part and equipment of the main pipelines carries out works aimed at updating and modernizing production facilities in order to increase the reliability of the functioning of the oil and product pipeline system, increase the supply of raw materials to Russian refineries and refined petroleum products to consumers.

Today, the main strategic task of Transneft Kama Region JSC is the realization and use of its capabilities in the field of functioning of all—Russian oil pipeline and oil product pipeline capacities.
